Global Offset Printers choose the Compact Foiler

Compact Compact Foilers Ltd are pleased to confirm that there was a great deal of interest in their Cold Foiling and Cast and Cure module at CPP EXPO / PRINT 13.

Gonçalves, in Brazil have installed a unit on a new Man Roland 700 Offset press located in their Sao Paulo facility. This customer is using the unit to create holographic-3D effects (cast and cure) in UV varnish providing customers with high impact, low cost packaging solutions.

101e.jpgPesenti, in Milan Italy have also installed a module on a Man Roland 700 machine to complement their Print finishing services. Many Printers are sending their sheets to create these special effects off-line until their volumes can justify the purchase of their own unit.

The German market continues to embrace the technology as modules have been installed at three more Off Set printing houses. Other modules for Sri Lanka, Japan and the USA are currently in production for delivery shortly.

102e.jpgThe Compact Foiler is the only floor mounted, portable module that can be used for cold foiling and creating special varnish effects in multiple locations. The foil tension is controlled automatically throughout the process for the ultimate results at high running speeds. CF has four foil saving options to improve yield and maintain a competitive advantage over competitors.

The World’s leading printers and Press manufacturers are selecting the Compact Foiler due to its flexibility and ease of operation. Many move the unit from press to press to create the effects in different locations. Reels can be changed quickly at floor level, eliminating lifting equipment, contamination and vibration caused by press mounted units. All locations require minimal press modification as the docking stations provide rapid alignment and connection to the press.
